Brian has nearly 15 years of experience in the field of investment management and economic research. Prior to joining GHPIA in 1999, he was a U.S. Equity Portfolio Manager with Owen-Joseph Asset Management and served as a U.S. & International Equity Analyst for Founders Asset Management, a Denver-based mutual fund company. Before entering the investment business, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Brookings Institution, a leading public policy think tank in Washington, D.C.
Brian earned a BA in Economics from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and has served as an adjunct lecturer in economics at the University of Colorado. He is also active in a number of organizations including a board member of the Anti-Defamation League, a member of the Jewish Community Foundation Investment Committee, the Israel National and Overseas Board of the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado, and on the Council for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. A native of Denver, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children.
